What is Play-Based Learning?
Play-based learning is an approach where children learn and develop through play. It focuses on the idea that play is essential to a child’s development and helps them build important skills like problem-solving, creativity, communication, and social interactions. Instead of formal instruction, children explore, experiment, and make choices during play, which allows them to learn at their own pace and develop a love for learning.
In a play-based environment, educators may guide play, introduce new materials, and observe children’s interactions to support and enhance their learning experiences. It's a fun and natural way for kids to engage with the world around them!
